Aya's brand was put on hold when the pandemic and economic issues struck. Aya,
the creative force behind ODD by AJ, used that time to embark on a deeply personal
and creative journey. She began to experiment with upcycling techniques and fabric
manipulation, exploring new avenues of design and expression.
During this transformative period, Aya discovered how her work was intricately
connected to her identity as an imperfect individual who, nevertheless, stands tall in
spite of her flaws. She learned to accept her imperfections and, in doing so, found a
unique form of beauty that resonated deeply with her.
